KUSA is a bar restaurant, rooted in their intention to share and welcome the community to experience the multicultural evolution of the Filipino Heritage in Los Angeles. In Tagalog, “KUSA” means intention, purpose or will.

The archives of vintage Filipino media was thoroughly explored during the research process.

The logo is inspired by the vintage magazine prints by Filipino designers while the color palette is derived from the flag and developed with the authentic cuisine in mind.
